Catwalk Looks 2012
I am always eager to see what Bridal looks will be created for the upcoming summer. This 2012 shows presented lots of Feminine Berry stained lips and rosy pink cheeks. Designer Oscar de la Renta showed a fresh romantic look on his models, great for any bride getting married outdoors in 2012. Models also wore gleaming blue-grey eye shadows, creamy peach blush and shiny soft pink lips; I can imagine this will be perfect for any modern winder wonderland wedding.
My NEW favourite hair product!
A must for any busy bride to be, Hello Batiste dry shampoo!! Not only did it give my hair a fresh lift but with new added colour it genuinely stopped my hair looking dirty!! As im sure many of you girls know its not always healthy to wash your hair everyday as it encourages your hair to create more grease and also can really dry out those ends, but with Batiste you can fake freshly washed hair in preparation for your big day.

2011
The start of a new wedding season with lots of lovely looks for you all to try!! I have been researching current looks and ideas from London and Paris fashion weeks for spring/summer 2011 along with bridal catwalks so that hopefully we can create a modern twist to create your perfect bridal Look in 2011!
At Melissa Sweet spring 2011 it was all about perfect skin. Clean and simple, organic and natural. Make-up artist Kimberley stone of Bobbi Brown was creating rose cheeks with simple eyes using gel liner with a few false lashes on the end. Always a favourite with my brides is just adding a few individual lashes to the outer eye to make the eye pop.
Pretty skin with soft mascara and a tint of lip gloss was seen at Christos Spring 2011 along with a slightly more Dewy look. Make-up artists were also creating a shimmer to the top of the cheek bone. Lush!
Along with the beautiful skin some designers were creating a bright bold lip. A good tip to keep this lip looking young yet dramatic is to soften the outer edge on the lip line. Also keeping the eye clean so that the look is not overdone especially if you are wearing an elegant white dress!
Spring/Summer 2010
The Sun is out and summer is on its way! I am ready and excited for a busy wedding season! I have been checking out some of the latest looks and styles, looking at images and write ups from the London, Paris and Milan fashion shows.
The inspiration for many of this seasons make-ups is Latin style women! lovely. 'effortless' looking make-up. It is less about the glamourous style of winter with a more 'cool' spring look. Its all about giving a strong impact with one single product!

Milan became the 'city of lips' at their shows. Normally the city of eyes with that strong Italian dark vogue style eye, they choose their single product as red and coloured lips.
Polished and chic, but still youthfull with a luminous finish to the skin. Bring on MACs mineralize summer products again! subtle, nude with a richness to it!
MAC have gone all out with their variety of new colourful products with their spring colour forecast. Something for everyone, from their gentle ombre hues bronzing powders to their highly pigmented pink shadows. Definitely worth a look. check out their website for your nearest store.

Spring Summer trends 2009!!
Highlighters!!! the hotest products of the season, along with dewy compelxions, defining the cheekbones and the eyebrow arch.
The revival of bronze yet again, giving you a healthy sun kissed glow!
Bright matte lips were also all over the catwalks of spring/summer. Designers such as Luella, Michael Kors to Sonia Rykiel and more ditched the gloss for super bright lips!
Applied with flawless foundation add your neon orange's for a total reviving of the 80's!
Big favourite - Vegas Volt, with its pinky orange tomes - £12 from MAC (nearest mac store, debenhams, highcross, Leics).
MAC's new summer feel products - A Rose Romance..
'From cheeks that blush, just a pinch, to soft rosebud shades and refreshingly fragrant fixes, it's a summer rose romance. Rosy pinks, faithful fuchsias and forget-me-not blues...a limited-edition collection of colours, to pick, peruse and ponder.'
Statement Lips!

The Key to achieving this years summer look is flawless skin, nude eyes, odd dashes of shimmer and of course bright bold matte lips!
To achieve the strong matte lip colour of the catwalks. Apply two coats of lipstick, then press tissue over the lips. Then lightly dust powder over the lips.

For matte with a little extra something, apply pigment the same shade over the lips! or get even more experimental with lighter pigment shades dotted in the center of the lips and blend slightly.
where can I get pigments from?
MAC Cosmetics - Pigments £15, Also try MAC Pro pigments for red, metallics and more.
